Pink, Bows & Silver

If you remember way back into last month when I shared my family’s Christmas cards, this outfit may look familiar to you.

I seriously love it. Everything about it. Pink, bows & silver sparkly shoes…is there anything more moi?!

Funnily enough, I was on the fence about keeping this blouse when I bought it. It didn’t have the texture I imagined it would when viewing it online, but figured since I got it for so cheap, on sale for less than $40, that I would keep it. Because after all, I can learn to love just about anything with a big bow on it! Best decision ever. This top is amazing and adds a dash of my personality to anything I wear it with. I just adore how feminine it looks paired with this skirt!

Shop: Bow blouse | Tulle skirt (old), similar here and here | Shoes (old), similar here, here (identical!), pumps | Earrings

The skirt is a Target find… from six years ago! It has been mostly sitting in my closet looking pretty for the majority of that time but no longer – tiered tulle skirts have been everywhere this winter and I am happy to be getting all kinds of inspiration to wear it again, 2019 style! The silver waistband just happened to look great with my shoes and accessories, but could comfortably be concealed beneath a belt if I wanted! Versatility for the win!

These earrings add just the right amount of sparkle without taking any of the bow’s thunder. This is another item that I didn’t really want when I got it. They came as a set with a custom necklace I ordered off Etsy years ago for one of the USMC birthday balls, but I never wore them. So glad I kept them because I’ve found a whole new love for them!

These shoes are – yep you guessed it – just another closet find that I’ve had for a few years now! Can you tell I love finding new ways to wear things I already have!? These were another inexpensive item that I’ve just had forever. I am a huge fan of sparkle, so I knew I had to have these the moment I laid eyes on them! They’re flats so they can easily be worn for a long time without pain and look great with jeans and a blouse, or a sweet ensemble like this one!

If there’s any profound truth to be learned from this post, it’s that buying classic pieces that fit your personality will always be a good investment!
