How to make a busy board for little ones

Our little Lilly is so inquisitive these days – as are most babies and toddlers! Her current interests include light switches, outlets, cords and other potentially dangerous things around the house! To satiate her curiosity and help feed her rapidly growing brain, Nate and I decided to combine all her favorite dangerous things in a safe way for her to explore. I give you …… the busy board!

Happy 6th Anniversary!

Today – June 23rd, 2018 – marks 6 years that Nate and I have had in wedded bliss!

Ok that might be a stretch. Anyone who is married can pretty much agree that marriage takes work, lots of work. Hard work.

But is all the hard work worth it?

Yes. Every. Single. Time.

How To Be There For Long-Distance Loved Ones

Living far away from friends and family isn’t always that great. With all of these distractions and a full to-do list, it’s easy to lose motivation to sit still and get school or work done, but when I have an assignment due or tons of reading ahead of me I use a few strategies to break the distraction and find the motivation to get the job done. So here it is, a list of the 5 ways to find motivation to get the job done!

A New Beginning

It’s day one of being a blogger…can I call myself that yet? With a head full of ideas and a stomach full of excited little butterflies, I am so ready to open up my world and share the best bits of life with you!

Though you’re joining me on a journey that began almost 6 years ago when I married Nate, the best is still yet to come. Which is precisely why I started this blog – to keep friends and family in the loop even though sometimes we’re hundreds or thousands of miles apart! Such is military life though, and I’m not complaining!
