I can hardly believe Thanksgiving has come and gone and now Christmas is a mere 23 days away, gasp! I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was beautiful, peaceful, delicious and relaxing! Because now the race to Christmas is on and I’m going to help you knock one item off your to-do list this Christmas season – styling elegant outfits for all of your Christmas gatherings.
I’ve styled three skirt outfits for the Christmas season because, well, you just can’t beat the versatility of a good skirt! While the elegant lady in me loves dresses, the practical, comfort loving lady in me loves skirts!
When I have the time, I love putting on a skirt and pulling as many items out of my closet as possible to experiment styling it with. This gets the creative juices flowing and gives me a number of new outfits to try for different occasions! Here, I wanted to provide a few different color palettes and stylings – chic and elegant, vintage inspired, and OTT festive! Let me know which is your favorite in the comments below!

Chic and elegant
I love a good statement piece and this shimmering star skirt is just the thing to brighten up a chilly December night! For practicality, comfort and a touch of chic glamour, I’ve paired it with my favorite cashmere turtleneck and warm opaque tights. There’s nothing worse than looking cute, but feeling miserable!
Utterly festive and equally elegant, this gorgeous emerald green hue is a seasonal favorite of mine year after year. This top, which is old, is full of lace and swiss dot detailing with satin piping – perfect to dress up or down. I’ve opted to dress it up with this newer emerald pleated skirt (also seen here, and here) for added drama and texture play. These emerald earring, which are also old, were the perfect finishing touch, along with a vintage black velvet clutch and 1930s inspired mary jane pumps. Finally, no outfit is complete without a big bow to tame unruly winter hair, of course!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this outfit before – I just love it! So festive, with a little bit of street styling. I bought this fair isle knit off Asos last year and unfortunately, they didn’t bring it back this year. This scuba skirt has the perfect flare to add a little bit of a feminine silhouette to contrast the boxy knit and of course, my favorite bow earrings this season! I took some inspiration from my favorite street style influencer and paired my opaque tights with these sparkling Kate Spade sandals in gold with black velvet bow on top – you can never have too many bows!
