If you haven’t seen part one of this series, check it out here! I’ve styled this gorgeous lace floral applique skirt from Michael Kors with some of AW19’s biggest trends.
First up, the pearl embellished headband has been proliferating all over social media for the last few months and given it’s luxe addition to any outfit, it’s bound to be even more popular through fall and into the Christmas season – which is everyone’s favorite time to dress a little extra!
Next, this trend is just as versatile as the first, the statement sleeve sweater. Gathered fabric at the shoulders provide just enough puff to hint at the Victorian-era inspiration for this piece, while the billowing statement sleeves fit perfectly in with AW19 trends. There are little stitching details around the bodice where it meets the sleeves, and the ribbing at the neckline, cuff and hem make this cozy sweater look so much more expensive than it is! Made of cotton, the mid-weight fabric is perfect for brisk fall days and winter evenings fireside. I highly recommend this piece!
More is more in fashion this year, and you can bet your bottom dollar that statement earrings will still be going strong through AW19! I absolutely love this pearly pair and have been wearing them weekly with everything from white t-shirts to this more glam ensemble! Statement earrings are a budget-friendly way to jazz up any outfit and add just a touch of glitz.
Finally, this pair of suede pumps is a newer addition to my wardrobe – ya girl just can’t pass up a good sale! For the price (less than $90 on sale!) these ankle strap pumps are super comfortable! There is a bit of light padding at the insole and the heel cup is quite flexible so that it moves with your ankle as opposed to being stiff and causing blisters. The “biscotti” beige color makes these pumps the perfect neutral to pair with any fall outfit! I can’t wait to show you how else I’ll be styling them!
