Malachite and Toile + Part Two

For part two of my malachite and toile series, I’ve taken a bit of inspiration from the structural, utilitarian yet feminine aesthetic that was fashionable in women’s clothing during the 1940s. I’ve personalized the look with the romantic toile blouse and made it modern with the trendy malachite green midi skirt.

Fall is all about deep, rich earthy hues and I personally love combining as many of them as possible! I’ve topped the malachite and toile ensemble with this navy blazer and belted it with a gold and black velvet belt to tie in the black handbag and half d’orsay pumps.

This is my favorite blazer for fall for it’s classic fitted cut, wool-free material and quality that has held up beautifully for years. The price can’t be beat either!

For size reference, I took my usual size in the blouse (XS), sized up for the skirt as I’m usually between a 2 and 4 (size 4) and my usual size in the blazer (2 petite).
