Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!! I hope you all had a lovely weekend with family and friends and were able to enjoy an encouraging Easter Sunday service at church! We certainly did!

We spent Saturday hunting eggs, eating too much candy and preparing for Sunday. Sunday we had a wonderful morning beginning with the BEST homemade cinnamon rolls from my Half Baked Harvest cookbook (couldn’t find the recipe online, sorry!), then a great church service, followed by more eating, playing with Easter basket goodies and just being together as a family! 😊

How silly most of our family pics look!

In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”

Luke 24: 5-7 NIV

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:3 NIV

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

He is Risen!
