It’s been a hectic week. I’m back in school, wrapping up my last few months until graduation and senioritis has hit hard. I had to take a few breaks from my degree over the last four years for huge life changes, or medical emergencies and that has set me back by six months. It may as well be 60 years though, I’m over it!
Times like these though, I can always count on a stylish outfit to pick-me-up and take my mind off of the monotony of school, if only for a little bit!
This is what I wore today. A white, boiled wool swing coat; an ivory cable-knit, mock-neck sweater; my favorite giant pom beanie, and cognac accessories that you have seen before here and here!
This time of year I always crave light and bright whites and neutral colors. It’s just refreshing after two months of rich reds and greens, velvets, jewel tones and sequins. Plus, I feel that dressing in bright colors or clean whites during the doll-drums of winter brightens my mood.
And with a very busy six months ahead of me, I need all the positivity I can muster!
