You Can’t Go Wrong With A Floral Print Dress

No matter the weather, the season, or the time of day, floral prints are always an effortless way to make a big statement with your outfit. I like floral print dresses especially because they are so comfortable, ultra-feminine and an entire outfit in one piece.

This past weekend I took an old floral print Lucky Brand dress out for a spin.

Even though we’re now well into October, summer weather is still here and it’s not letting go.

We’ve had Florida-like humidity, where you walk outside and your clothes get drenched with the moisture in the air, plus it is still hot with temperatures in the upper 80s. I’m over it!

This floral kimono-sleeve dress with it’s light, drapey fabric was made for this kind of weather and it’s dark base color and earthy color scheme makes it a perfect choice for those hot fall days when you still want to dress for fall but without all the layers.

I paired it with a fall staple, a saddle brown handbag, and my favorite nude block-heel pumps. These shoes are really comfortable for a few hours of wear and look great with literally everything!

Floral print dresses are not only fun and feminine but super versatile. Pop a leather moto jacket over your shoulders, add some stilettos and you have a cute date night look. Pull colors from the dress and pick accessories that match to make those colors pop! For cooler fall days, swap out the strappy pumps for booties or knee-high boots for added warmth. Or just wear it on it’s own with seasonal browns and neutral shades like I did here for a super simple, put-together look.

For date night, church (which is where I wore this outfit), or sightseeing in your favorite city, you can’t go wrong with a floral print dress.
